A Video Graphics Array cable (VGA) is the oldest type of standard computer cable connection that most PCs conform to. It is an analog video connector that transmits component video signals, which include red, green, blue, horizontal sync and vertical sync, and it is used primarily with computer monitors. It is also called an RGB, D-sub 15, mini sub D15 or mini D15 cable.

A VGA cable has a large rectangular connector at each end. The connector has a trapezoid-shaped plug with 15 small pins inside it and a twist-style screw at each end.

VGA cables are used almost exclusively for connecting PC machines to video monitor.
